Focus on the Promise

Adobe Spark

How often do you find yourself dwelling on everything wrong in your life, instead of all the good?  How many times do you feel like you are facing problem after problem instead of having positive things come your way.

Romans 4:20 says, “No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God.”

Everyone faces difficult times and hardship, and we shouldn’t deny that problems exist but its important to continue forward in our faith knowing that God will keep His promises to us.  Romans 8:28 reads, “And we know that all things work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are the called, according to His purpose.”  In times of trouble, we need to remember to focus on the promise, instead of the problem.  If you focus on the problem you’ll find yourself run down, feeling defeated and depressed.  But if you focus on the promises of our God, you will be able to move forward without stress and worry consuming you.  I mean, lets face it…when has stress and worry actually changed the outcome of a problem?

God loves you, and he wants your life to be filled with joy.  It’s only if you have a joyful heart and a cheerful spirit that you will be able to fulfill Gods will for you on this earth.

I pray that when you feel weighed down by problems, disappointments and negativity that you remember God’s promise, because our problems will be with us until the day of our death.  God promises us eternal life.  Jesus has went and prepared a place of us and one day we will join him, and when we do there will be no more hurt, pain, or sadness.
